The hugely popular weight-loss drug Wegovy has been approved in China, Novo Nordisk said on Tuesday, the world’s second-largest economy and the country estimated to hold the highest number of overweight or obese people.

The company announced plans to build a second fill and finishing manufacturing facility in Clayton, North Carolina, and grow its ability to produce current and future injectable treatments for people with obesity and other serious chronic diseases.
